Ms. Itagaki is a graduate of Punahou School and she obtained her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania in Political Science and Urban Studies. 

After studying law at Oxford University in a post-graduate program, she spent a year gaining fluency in Spanish in Madrid, Spain.  Ms. Itagaki has worked in e-commerce marketing and strategic planning with Merrill Lynch in New York and New Jersey and Starr Seigle Communications in Honolulu.

She obtained her law degree from the Moritz College of Law at The Ohio State University.  Ms. Itagaki is the recipient of the Honorable Joseph P. Harter Memorial Award for Outstanding Performance in Trial Practice as well as the CALI Excellence for the Future Awards for the highest grades in Trial Practice, Civil Litigation, and Inter-Professional Care.  In 2005, she was nominated and named to the National Chancellor’s List for outstanding graduate students. 

She is the former law clerk to the Honorable Dexter D. Del Rosario and the Honorable Gary W. B. Chang of the First Circuit Court, State of Hawaii.  She is a Director with the Hawaii State Bar Association’s Young Lawyer’s Division.
