Travis T. Moon is an Associate and practices in the Real Estate and Business and Commercial practice groups. An attorney who embraces the challenging and dynamic nature of Hawaii real estate and business law, Travis aims to provide expert service to his clients. Attentive listening, a propensity for problem solving, and a strong work ethic are qualities that clients can count on from Travis.

Travis earned his law degree from the University of Hawaii, William S. Richardson School of Law. While in law school, he served for two years as a research assistant and one semester as a teaching assistant to Professor David L. Callies. He was also an active team member of the Native American Moot Court for two years.

In 2017, Travis was a Summer Law Associate at Damon Key, where he completed memorandums on various legal issues, and reviewed and drafted legal documents. Prior to that, he was a judicial extern to Judge Derrick H.M. Chan. During this time, Travis was exposed to oral and written advocacy and experienced firsthand the multitude of cases brought to probate court.

Travis holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from the University of Washington. His post graduate employment was with Title Guaranty Escrow Services, Inc., where for two years he was an Escrow Associate. During his time there, Travis closed property transactions and achieved title report mastery, as well as handled lease to fee conversions, foreclosures and refinances. The position required a high degree of customer responsiveness and problem-solving skills. The experience and the in-depth introduction to the world of real estate escrow ultimately led Travis to focus his law practice in the area of Real Estate and Business and Commercial law.

Travis was born and raised on Oahu and is a graduate of Hawaii Baptist Academy. One of Travis’ passions is playing guitar, which he learned as a youth taking lessons at a popular local music store in Pearl City. In high school, Travis was an electric guitar instructor and a teaching assistant at that same music store. He played electric guitar at occasional gigs, but today he primarily plays acoustic guitar in more casual settings. In his spare time, Travis also enjoys playing golf and watching University of Washington football.
